GRAPHIC DESIGN

The term graphic design implies the production of such a result which attracts the viewer as well as conveys the message. It is a great way of presenting items before the people in order to sell it or make it more convincing.  It is a substitute for verbal communication, it is a visual communicator. It combines both art and technology to communicate ideas.  They find the most effective way to get messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques.
Graphic designers prepare sketches or layouts—by hand or with the aid of a computer—to illustrate their vision for the design. They select colors, sound, artwork, photography, animation, style of type, and other visual elements for the design. They finally come out with end products like logos, graphics, brochures, newsletters, posters, signs, and any other type of visual communication. In today’s date, graphic designer use computer softwares as the basic tool.
Before stepping into the plan for design, graphic designers put into their mind the social, cultural, cognitive aspects in order to touch the heart of the target audience. It deals with small things like sweet wrappers to things like T-shirt. By far we can say that graphic designing has taken a global market to its hand. The job column in newspapers shows lots of demands for graphic designer which proves that it has a broad scope in the market.
The magazines we read with so much enthusiasm is the wonder of graphic designing. What if we had to read magazines only with texts and no color and visual effect? Life then would somehow be dark and colorless. Even a small child would love to learn fairy tales with more color, images and visual effects.  Thus we can rightly say that graphic designs have splashed our life with more colors.
