MUSIC:A FORM OF ART

Music is an art form whose medium is sound and silence. Common elements of music are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "art of the Muses").

To many people in many cultures, music is an important part of their way of life. With the 20th centuries music became more and more popular. Music is composed and performed for many purposes, ranging from aesthetic pleasure, religious or ceremonial purposes, or as an entertainment product for the marketplace.
Music is life for some people. They enjoy music as the most important factor of their life. Music is classified into different types…rock, jazz , rap,  metal, romantic etc. Every individual has his/her own favorite but all these music, in their own category, provides pleasure which is divine and heavenly. Music can be divided into many genres in many different ways. These classifications are often arbitrary and closely related styles often overlap.

Music is food for the soul.  Kids can rattle off the entire alphabet range in song . This happens because music functions are controlled in a different section of the brain than speech. Music continues to touch hearts the world over, irrespective of color and race. Music for some people is the way of life.
